Taekwon-Do Theory Assistant for Linux 1.2.1
March 2 2009
It can help students learn their Taekwon-Do theory ready for their grading.
Requirements: Mono and GTK#2.0 or higher
BSEditor: This is a completely free program designed to help students learn their Taekwon-Do theory ready for their grading. For the moment, it goes from Yellow Tag to 1st Degree Black Belt, and the main focus is on the Korean Vocabulary.
The way it basically works is that you set which belt you're going for, select which kind of questions you want to be asked, and then start the test. If you get an answer wrong, you'll be asked it again, so the test won't end until you answer all of the questions correctly. I have personally found this to be good for actually learning the theory in the first place, not just for testing my knowledge.
So Far, it goes as far as the First Degree Black Belt syllabus but I may extend this further in the future.
It is worth mentioning that this software has been written with the ITF (International Taekwondo Federation) system in mind, and refers to the moves and patterns of this system.
Before install this software you need Mono and GTK#2.0 or higher in your computer.
