KSql, formerly known as KMySql is a client of the KDE base. KSql was originally specific to mysql, but now uses plugins to access databases as first miniSQL and PostgreSQL.The objective of this project was to provide access to databases in one easy to use and interface graphic oriented way to replace the original laid-mode customers. This goal is now fully realized: one can run many SQL servers in a tree view, send SQL queries and display results from multiple tables views.The second objective is to provide expanded opportunities database, such as forms, table creation and publishing, server administration, and so on.The ultimate goal is to get a feature-rich application database, with the concept of application. This is planned for the next generation kmysql.
